Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Accurately handle cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments while maintaining strict security protocols.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries regarding account balances and services, and resolve issues efficiently to ensure high satisfaction.
- Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to recommend our suite of financial products, such as savings accounts and credit cards, to meet client needs.
- Account Maintenance: Assist customers with routine account maintenance tasks, including opening new accounts and processing stop payments.
- Security Compliance: Adhere to all bank policies and regulatory requirements to prevent fraud and ensure the safety of assets.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the branch team to ensure smooth daily operations and efficient queue management.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; some college or banking coursework is a plus.
- Math Skills: Strong arithmetic skills with the ability to handle large sums of money accurately and quickly.
- Experience: Previous customer service or cash-handling experience is preferred but not mandatory for this trainee role.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with diverse clientele.
- Integrity: A proven track record of honesty, reliability, and ethical decision-making.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by branch schedules.
