Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Accurately handle cash deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing to ensure every transaction is secure and compliant with bank regulations.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and assist them with account inquiries, providing a superior banking experience.
- Product Sales: Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate banking products such as CDs, savings accounts, and debit cards.
- ATM Maintenance: Monitor and maintain the ATM machine, ensuring it is stocked and functioning correctly.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of daily transactions and reconcile cash drawers at the end of each shift.
- Problem Resolution: Address customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally, escalating complex matters to management when necessary.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework in finance or business is a plus.
- Experience: Previous customer service or cash-handling experience is preferred but not required for our trainee program.
- Skills: Strong math skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends and some evenings.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Integrity: A strong commitment to honesty, confidentiality, and ethical standards.
