Responsibilities
- Process daily customer transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive banking experience.
- Open new accounts and explain product features and benefits to potential clients.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure the cash drawer is balanced at the end of every shift.
- Identify and refer opportunities for cross-selling bank products and services.
- Assist with loan payments and other account maintenance tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Business or Finance is a plus.
- Previous customer service experience is preferred but not required for this entry-level trainee role.
- Strong mathematical skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must pass a background check and credit check.
- Professional demeanor and a friendly, approachable attitude.
