Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical AI governance frameworks for autonomous systems
- Lead cross-functional audits of machine learning algorithms for bias mitigation
- Develop industry standards for explainable AI (XAI) in high-stakes domains
- Partner with legal teams to ensure compliance with evolving AI regulations
- Present research findings at global AI ethics summits and policy forums
- Mentor junior researchers while publishing in top-tier AI ethics journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Ethics, or related field with 5+ years AI research experience
- Proven track record in publishing peer-reviewed papers on algorithmic fairness
- Expertise in bias detection tools (e.g., AIF360, IBM AI Fairness 360)
- Experience with regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Strong background in applied philosophy or technology ethics
- Proficiency in Python and ML model development for ethical testing
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
