Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical validation protocols for autonomous decision-making systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing bias mitigation strategies for ML algorithms
- Author white papers on AI governance frameworks for regulatory bodies
- Collaborate with product teams to embed ethical considerations in design processes
- Present research findings at international conferences and industry summits
- Establish KPIs for ethical AI performance and monitoring systems
- Mentor junior researchers in applied ethics methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in AI ethics, policy development, or responsible innovation
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on algorithmic fairness or AI governance
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, etc.)
- Strong background in quantitative analysis and statistical modeling
- Experience with stakeholder engagement across technical and non-technical domains
- Proven ability to translate complex ethical concepts into actionable guidelines
