As an AI Ethics & Governance Specialist, you'll architect ethical frameworks for next-generation autonomous systems while ensuring compliance with evolving global regulations. This role bridges cutting-edge AI development with human-centric design principles, working directly with our Quantum Computing and Neural Interface teams to preemptively address societal impact. Lead initiatives that define the ethical boundaries of AI deployment across healthcare, transportation, and defense sectors while mentoring junior researchers in ethical AI practices.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI ethics governance frameworks aligned with ISO/IEC 42001 standards
- Conduct bias audits and impact assessments for autonomous decision systems
- Develop real-time ethical monitoring dashboards for deployed AI models
- Collaborate with product teams on ethical AI integration at design phase
- Author position papers on AI ethics for regulatory bodies and industry coalitions
- Lead cross-functional working groups on AI transparency and accountability
- Establish whistleblower protocols for ethical violations in AI development
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years in AI governance, compliance, or responsible tech development
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ACM Code of Ethics)
- Proficiency in bias detection tools (IBM Fairness 360, Google What-If Tool)
- Published work in AI ethics or technology ethics journals
- Experience with quantum computing ethics challenges
- Certification in AI Risk Management (e.g., CERA-IA)
- Strong background in cross-cultural ethical analysis
