Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics policies and governance frameworks
- Conduct risk assessments for emerging AI technologies including generative models and autonomous systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in auditing AI systems for bias and fairness
- Advocate for ethical AI principles in product development cycles
- Establish stakeholder partnerships with regulators, academia, and industry coalitions
- Drive transparency initiatives through explainable AI documentation practices
- Monitor global regulatory evolution and adapt compliance strategies proactively
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Law, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in AI governance, compliance, or ethics leadership role
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, etc.)
- Proficiency in bias detection tools and fairness metrics
- Experience with cross-cultural ethical risk assessment methodologies
- Strong background in stakeholder engagement and policy advocacy
- Published work on AI ethics or demonstrated thought leadership
- Technical understanding of ML model architectures and deployment pipelines
