Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics frameworks aligned with EU AI Act, NIST guidelines, and emerging standards
- Lead cross-functional audits of ML models for bias, fairness, and transparency
- Design governance protocols for autonomous systems and generative AI deployments
- Collaborate with legal and engineering teams to create ethical-by-design AI workflows
- Represent the company at global AI ethics forums and regulatory discussions
- Establish KPIs for ethical AI performance and continuous improvement cycles
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Policy, or related field with 7+ years AI governance experience
- Proven track record implementing ethical AI frameworks in production environments
- Expertise in bias detection tools (e.g., IBM Fairness 360, Google What-If Tool)
- Deep understanding of global AI regulations (EU AI Act, US Blueprint for AI Bill of Rights)
- Certification in AI ethics (e.g., IEEE Ethically Aligned Design) preferred
- Experience testifying before regulatory bodies or advising government committees
