Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive AI ethics governance frameworks aligned with evolving global regulations
- Lead bias audits and impact assessments for autonomous decision-making systems
- Develop AI transparency protocols for explainable machine learning models
- Partner with engineering teams to embed ethical safeguards into AI development pipelines
- Represent the organization in AI ethics coalitions and regulatory discussions
- Create stakeholder education programs on responsible AI deployment
- Establish continuous monitoring systems for algorithmic fairness and accountability
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Philosophy, Ethics, or related field with 5+ years in AI governance
- Proven expertise in developing bias mitigation strategies for machine learning systems
- Deep knowledge of EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and emerging global AI regulations
- Experience with cross-functional AI ethics implementation in tech environments
- Strong background in policy development and stakeholder engagement
- Publication record in AI ethics or responsible AI research
- Certification in AI ethics or data governance (e.g., CDEP, CIPM)
