Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics governance frameworks for autonomous systems
- Conduct bias audits and algorithmic impact assessments on ML models
- Coordinate with engineering teams to embed ethical safeguards in development pipelines
- Monitor regulatory developments (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks) and adapt compliance strategies
- Lead stakeholder workshops on responsible AI practices with clients and regulators
- Document compliance documentation and prepare regulatory submissions
- Mentor junior staff on emerging AI ethics standards and best practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Ethics, Computer Science, Law, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 3+ years experience in AI governance, compliance, or ethics policy
- Deep understanding of bias detection techniques in ML systems
- Familiarity with NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act, and global AI regulations
- Strong technical aptitude to collaborate with ML engineers effectively
- Certification in AI ethics or data privacy (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPM)
- Exceptional written communication for policy documentation and stakeholder reporting
