Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical AI governance frameworks for autonomous systems
- Conduct bias audits across machine learning pipelines using proprietary evaluation tools
- Develop corporate policies for responsible AI deployment in regulated industries
- Lead stakeholder dialogues on AI ethics with government bodies and industry consortiums
- Train cross-functional teams on ethical AI development methodologies
- Monitor emerging regulatory landscapes (EU AI Act, US AI Bill of Rights) for compliance
- Author transparency reports for high-stakes AI decision systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years in AI governance, responsible AI, or tech ethics roles
- Deep expertise in bias mitigation techniques for ML systems
- Familiarity with NIST AI RMF and ISO/IEC 42071 standards
- Experience with regulatory frameworks for autonomous systems
- Exceptional communication skills for technical/non-technical audiences
- Publication record in AI ethics or adjacent fields
- Proficiency in Python for bias auditing workflows
