Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning models for complex optimization problems
- Develop novel quantum algorithms with 10x speedup over classical computing
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum neural networks
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Translate theoretical research into commercial applications for finance, logistics, and healthcare
- Mentor junior researchers and PhD candidates in quantum computing methodologies
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA grant applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of quantum computing experience
- Proven expertise in quantum algorithms and error correction techniques
- Strong publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent venues
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum programming frameworks
- Demonstrated experience with large-scale distributed computing systems
- Deep understanding of quantum-classical hybrid architectures
- Ability to communicate complex quantum concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- US citizenship or permanent residency required for government contracts
