Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging technologies with 2026+ market potential through horizon scanning and trend forecasting
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating breakthrough innovations (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.) into enterprise ecosystems
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Present future scenarios to executive leadership and investment committees
- Build and maintain relationships with leading research institutions and venture capital networks
- Author thought leadership on technological disruption and future-proofing strategies
- Advise on ethical implications and societal impact of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting and commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Strong executive communication with ability to translate complex concepts
- Advanced degree in relevant field (Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics)
- Published thought leadership on technological futures or disruption
- Experience working with Fortune 500 innovation ecosystems
