This role demands an architect of possibilities—someone who thrives at the intersection of foresight, strategy, and execution. You'll collaborate with C-suite executives to build a 5-year technology roadmap while identifying disruptive opportunities in AI, quantum computing, and sustainable tech.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, AR/VR, neurotech) for commercial viability
- Present strategic technology briefings to executive stakeholders and investors
- Partner with R&D teams to accelerate prototype-to-production cycles
- Establish KPIs for measuring long-term technological adoption readiness
- Drive patent strategy for breakthrough innovations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (whitepapers, patents, keynotes)
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
