Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen digital solutions
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Present strategic futures to C-suite and venture capital partners
- Establish industry thought leadership through whitepapers and keynotes
- Manage $2M+ R&D budget for future technology incubation projects
- Collaborate with academic institutions on cutting-edge research initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- Proven track record in emerging tech commercialization
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, or synthetic biology
- Certification in Foresight Methodology (e.g., CFM) preferred
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants
- Strong network with DARPA, NSF, and venture capital communities
- Publish record in IEEE or Nature journals
