Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging fields including quantum computing, neural interfaces, and climate-resilient AI systems
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify and prioritize disruptive technologies with market potential by 2026
- Conduct scenario planning for ethical, legal, and societal implications of next-gen innovations
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government bodies, and venture capital firms
- Author thought leadership publications and white papers on technology futures
- Advise C-suite on technology investments and competitive positioning
- Mentor junior innovators through our Future Leaders program
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation management
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of translating technical concepts into business value
- Experience with futures forecasting methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Exceptional communication skills for diverse technical and non-technical audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published research or implemented future-focused initiatives
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
