Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and decentralized systems
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on emerging paradigms (neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology)
- Partner with product teams to integrate future technologies into commercial roadmaps
- Present strategic foresight findings to executive stakeholders and industry forums
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists and academic researchers
- Author thought leadership content (whitepapers, patents, TED-style talks)
- Lead innovation labs focused on prototyping 2026-viable technologies
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurology
- 7+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 scale
- Published work on emerging tech (AI governance, quantum applications, or similar)
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology impact assessment frameworks
- Proven ability to translate complex concepts into executive-level strategy
- Experience with global innovation ecosystems (Silicon Valley, Shenzhen, Berlin)
- Certification in Futures Studies (e.g., APF CFP) or equivalent
