Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps integrating quantum computing, biotech convergence, and AI governance frameworks
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' prototyping breakthrough applications for 2026+ use cases
- Advise C-suite on emerging tech risks and opportunities through horizon scanning and scenario planning
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and global innovation hubs
- Author forward-looking thought leadership and patent novel tech-integration methodologies
- Mentor junior futurists in speculative design and exponential thinking practices
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven impact on future-oriented initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AGI, neurotech, climate tech)
- Published thought leadership on technology's societal impact post-2025
- Experience with futures methodologies (horizon scanning, Delphi, scenario planning)
- Advanced degree in Technology, Futures Studies, or relevant field
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major tech ecosystem transformation projects
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Forecasting preferred
