Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for AI, biotech, and climate tech convergence
- Lead 'Horizon Scanning' initiatives to identify disruptive innovations
- Partner with C-suite to embed future-proof strategies into corporate DNA
- Produce annual 'State of 2026' trend reports for industry leaders
- Facilitate innovation workshops with MIT, Stanford, and NASA collaborators
- Build and lead a dedicated Future Tech incubation team
- Represent company at Davos, SXSW, and global tech summits
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with proven 2025+ horizon planning experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent
- Published thought leadership in AI ethics or quantum computing
- Portfolio demonstrating scalable innovation frameworks
- Fluency in at least one emerging tech stack (e.g., quantum Python)
- Experience securing $5M+ in R&D funding for future-tech initiatives
- Deep network within DARPA, EU Horizon, and national innovation agencies
