- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive technologies and geopolitical shifts affecting 2026+ business landscapes
- Partner with product and engineering teams to prototype future-facing solutions
- Establish strategic alliances with research institutions and think tanks
- Present futuristic scenarios to stakeholders and drive adoption of long-term strategies
- Mentor a team of futurists and innovation specialists
- Monitor KPIs for strategic initiatives and adjust roadmaps quarterly
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist roles
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, biotech, and climate tech
- Proven track record of executing multi-year strategic transformations
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or related field
- Deep understanding of global megatrends affecting 2026+ business environments
- Exceptional communication skills for articulating complex future scenarios
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies preferred
