Responsibilities
- Analyze and synthesize emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to identify disruptive opportunities through 2026
- Develop scenario-planning models for climate adaptation, workforce transformation, and regulatory shifts
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to translate foresight into actionable strategies
- Author thought leadership reports published in Harvard Business Review and TechCrunch
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, scientists, and policy influencers
- Design immersive foresight simulations for Fortune 500 clients
- Mentor junior futurists in advanced analytical frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field with 7+ years applied foresight experience
- Published portfolio of trend analysis or scenario-planning work (TED Talks/peer-reviewed journals)
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methods, and causal layered analysis
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their socioeconomic implications
- Proven ability to communicate complex futures concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Experience with AI-powered foresight tools like GPT-4 foresight modules
- Track record of implementing strategic initiatives from foresight insights
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston)
