Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive horizon scanning for disruptive technologies and market shifts affecting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop evidence-based scenario models and strategic foresight frameworks for executive decision-making
- Partner with R&D teams to integrate future insights into product roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Deliver compelling trend briefings and thought leadership content to internal stakeholders and industry forums
- Establish cross-functional futures intelligence networks with academic, startup, and government entities
- Quantify market impact of emerging technologies through data-driven forecasting methodologies
- Champion innovation culture through workshops and foresight training programs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology research roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology assessment frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional data synthesis and visualization skills with tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Published thought leadership in futures or technology publications
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and board-level stakeholders
