Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum processors using superconducting and photonic qubit technologies
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for 1000+ qubit systems
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical workflows for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen quantum accelerators
- Optimize quantum algorithms for real-world computational chemistry challenges
- Secure quantum-resistant encryption standards for Fortune 500 clients
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature/Science journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Proven experience with quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC, etc.)
- Strong background in superconducting qubit fabrication or photonic quantum systems
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Experience securing DoD/NASA quantum computing contracts
- Fluency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit optimization techniques
