Responsibilities
- Lead quantum-AI algorithm development for 2026 deployment targets
- Design hybrid quantum-classical computing architectures
- Collaborate with NASA and DARPA on autonomous systems research
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum machine learning principles
- Secure $2M+ in research grants through NSF and DoD proposals
- Develop patentable frameworks for quantum-resistant encryption
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and ACM conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or Computational Physics
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development or ML research
- Published work in Nature/Science journals or top-tier conferences
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Experience with superconducting quantum processors or ion traps
- Security clearance eligibility (DARPA projects)
