Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end innovation lifecycle from ideation to market-ready prototypes for 2026 technology roadmap
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget and cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and futurists
- Create predictive models for technology adoption and market disruption scenarios
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and board of directors
- Drive patent portfolio development and intellectual property strategy
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology innovation or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products/services
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains
- Advanced degree in STEM field or equivalent experience
- Executive-level stakeholder management experience
- Published thought leadership on future technology trends
- Experience scaling innovation teams in high-growth environments
- Fluency in innovation frameworks (Design Thinking, Lean Startup, etc.)
