Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap with measurable KPIs
- Lead discovery of emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, neuro interfaces) and assess commercial viability
- Champion agile innovation methodologies across 15+ product teams
- Forge strategic partnerships with academia, startups, and industry leaders
- Present visionary concepts to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor a 10-person innovation lab and drive talent development
- Secure and manage $5M+ annual innovation budget
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation with 5+ years in leadership roles
- Proven track record launching breakthrough products (portfolio required)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, biotech, AR/VR)
- Exceptional strategic planning with data-driven decision-making
- Experience scaling innovation from concept to market
- Strong financial acumen for budget allocation and ROI modeling
- PhD or equivalent in relevant field preferred
- Published thought leadership in innovation/tech journals
