Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies in 2026
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and futurists
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across 12+ industries
- Design ethical frameworks for next-gen AI and biotechnology systems
- Present visionary concepts to C-suite executives and government partners
- Secure $2M+ annual R&D funding through stakeholder presentations
- Mentor junior futurists in strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership on 2020s technology trends
- Expertise in scenario planning and quantitative forecasting
- Proven experience securing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Proficiency in AI/ML tools and quantum computing principles
- Exceptional communication skills for executive-level stakeholder engagement
