Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, economics, and social domains to identify disruptive forces by 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for product development and market expansion
- Facilitate executive workshops on future-proofing organizational capabilities
- Author white papers and thought leadership on emerging paradigms (AI ethics, quantum computing adoption, biotech convergence)
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Translate foresight insights into product innovation priorities and investment thesis
- Advise leadership on systemic risks and opportunities in the 5-10 year horizon
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurology, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology R&D
- Proven track record of publishing future-focused thought leadership
- Expertise in scenario planning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, climate tech)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent experience
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-shaping initiatives
