Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for emerging tech verticals including AI ethics, climate engineering, and neural interfaces
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with executive teams to stress-test organizational resilience against disruptive futures
- Author quarterly 'Horizon Reports' analyzing geopolitical, economic, and technological inflection points
- Design patent-pending innovation frameworks for sustainable human augmentation systems
- Coordinate with DARPA and NASA on next-gen space colonization protocols
- Mentor a team of junior futurists using our proprietary 'Temporal Modeling' methodology
- Present at Davos and World Economic Forum summits representing Nexus's future vision
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or equivalent transdisciplinary field with 8+ years of strategic foresight experience
- Proven track record of developing commercialized future-proofing frameworks for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in exponential technology forecasting (AI, quantum, biotech) with peer-reviewed publications
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies (e.g., CFS, SFI) and advanced scenario planning
- Deep understanding of global regulatory landscapes for emerging technologies
- Experience leading $50M+ innovation portfolios with measurable ROI on future-facing initiatives
- Fluency in Mandarin, Arabic, and Spanish for global stakeholder engagement
- Portfolio required demonstrating at least three successfully implemented future-shaping strategies
