Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for emerging tech domains including quantum computing and neuro-interfaces
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to align organizational vision with future market trends
- Author quarterly trend reports forecasting disruptive innovations in AI ethics and climate tech
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government labs for R&D initiatives
- Mentor a team of futurists and data scientists in scenario planning methodologies
- Present findings at global forums like the World Economic Forum and TED Future conferences
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning or innovation roles within tech, biotech, or aerospace
- Proven track record of implementing future-proof solutions for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and technology forecasting frameworks
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from ACFC or University of Houston)
- Prior experience with policy advisory for federal or international tech initiatives
