Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks using trend analysis and scenario modeling
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align organizational capabilities with 2026 technological horizons
- Author annual 'Future State' reports for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Establish innovation incubators for emerging technologies (quantum, bio-integration, neural interfaces)
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions with 3-5 year commercialization horizons
- Monitor geopolitical, economic, and technological signals for early disruption detection
- Represent Horizon Dynamics at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent strategic discipline
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or C-suite strategy roles
- Portfolio demonstrating published future scenarios or trend analysis (2020-2025)
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized initiatives
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, STEEP analysis)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or similar)
- Exceptional communication skills for executive and technical audiences
