- Establish industry thought leadership through white papers and conference keynotes
Responsibilities
- Analyze exponential technology trends (quantum computing, neural interfaces, climate tech)
- Develop scenario-based strategic models for 2026-2030 market landscapes
- Lead innovation sprints with MIT Media Lab and NASA partnerships
- Design ethical frameworks for next-gen AI and biotechnology deployment
- Secure $50M+ in future-focused venture capital and grants
- Mentor a team of 15 futurists and technology scouts
- Author annual 'State of the Future' industry report
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related field
- 10+ years in strategic innovation or technology foresight
- Published peer-reviewed research on exponential technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI ethics
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic concepts
- Experience advising Fortune 500 CTOs and government innovation councils
- Fluency in scenario planning tools (STEEP, Delphi method)
- Portfolio of implemented 5-year technology forecasts
