Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends and societal shifts to create 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks
- Develop innovation roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable energy systems
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype solutions for 2026 challenges in climate resilience and neurotech
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and industry thought leadership forums
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government bodies to shape policy frameworks
- Mentor junior futurists and build a culture of anticipatory thinking across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, nanotech)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning methodologies
- Strong communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futures or innovation journals (required)
- Experience with horizon scanning tools and trend analysis platforms
