Responsibilities
- Develop multi-year technology foresight frameworks targeting 2026 commercial viability
- Conduct horizon scanning across AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, and spatial computing
- Produce strategic briefings for C-suite on emerging technological disruptions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align innovation portfolios with future market landscapes
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs to capture bleeding-edge research
- Design ethical frameworks for next-generation autonomous systems and human-AI interfaces
- Author thought leadership publications positioning Horizon as the 2026 innovation authority
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, R&D leadership, or emerging technology consulting
- Published portfolio of technology trend analyses with 3+ year predictive accuracy
- Deep expertise in at least two of these domains: quantum applications, neurotech, climate tech
- Experience translating speculative R&D into commercial product roadmaps
- Proven ability to influence executive decision-making through data-driven futurism
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning, weak signal detection)
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical storytelling to diverse audiences
