Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology roadmaps by analyzing emerging trends in AI, quantum computing, and synthetic biology
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype breakthrough solutions for global markets
- Partner with C-suite executives to align strategic initiatives with long-term technological horizons
- Conduct horizon scanning and publish forward-looking whitepapers for industry thought leadership
- Drive adoption of exponential technologies through internal skunkworks projects and external partnerships
- Mentor teams in future-proof methodologies and adaptive innovation frameworks
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic innovation, R&D, or futurist roles with proven impact
- Deep expertise in at least two exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum, biotech, nanotech)
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex future scenarios
- Published thought leadership or patents in emerging technology domains
- Experience scaling innovation from concept to market-ready solutions
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/PhD preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major future-focused projects
