Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 Technology Horizon Scanning Framework identifying disruptive trends in AI, biotech, and quantum systems
- Produce quarterly strategic foresight reports with actionable recommendations for executive leadership
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate 2026-era concepts
- Establish partnerships with leading research institutions and venture labs focused on next-gen technologies
- Design and facilitate scenario-planning workshops for C-suite and board members
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and technology summits
- Mentor junior strategists in futures methodologies and trend analysis techniques
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology strategy
- Proven track record of developing technology roadmaps with 3-5 year implementation horizons
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum computing applications, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Certification in futures methodologies (e.g., CFPC, Foresight Practitioner) or equivalent experience
- Exceptional data synthesis skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into strategic narratives
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on technological disruption scenarios
- Published thought leadership in futurist publications or peer-reviewed journals
- PhD or Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
