Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts post-2025
- Develop strategic roadmaps for product innovation aligned with 2026+ technological inflection points
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable development plans
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs for emerging tech validation
- Present foresight findings to executive leadership and board members with compelling narratives
- Mentor junior futurists in trend analysis and scenario planning methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in innovation strategy, emerging technology analysis, or corporate foresight
- Proven track record developing 5+ year strategic roadmaps for tech-forward organizations
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, neurotech, or climate engineering
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futures or technology journals
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, horizon scanning software)
