Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners to move inventory.
- Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders; ensure accurate labeling and placement.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision and speed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Data Entry: Maintain accurate records of stock levels and movement using warehouse management systems.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure daily operational goals are met.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Schedule: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating or fixed schedule.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly; ability to stand for extended periods.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and comfort with handheld scanning devices.
- Experience: No prior warehouse experience required; on-the-job training provided.
- License: Valid driver’s license is preferred but not mandatory.
