Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and patient examinations
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Accurately document patient information and medical records
- Perform basic diagnostic tests and vital sign measurements
- Administer medications and injections under physician supervision
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and assist with billing procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred but not required
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency with EMR systems
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Valid CPR certification (provided during training if needed)
- Commitment to weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
