Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital sign monitoring, bedpan assistance, and mobility support
- Assist nurses with patient hygiene, feeding, and specimen collection
- Accurately document patient information in electronic health records
- Maintain clean, sterile environments following OSHA protocols
- Respond promptly to patient call bells and emergency situations
- Stock and organize medical supplies in patient care areas
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams during shift changes
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (CNA certification preferred but not required)
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours and lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic computer literacy for documentation systems
- Valid CPR certification (will be provided during training)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure in fast-paced settings
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Background check and drug screen required
