Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move inventory.
- Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, checking, and storing incoming stock to ensure accurate inventory records.
- Packaging & Shipping: Prepare packages for shipment, ensuring all safety protocols and labeling requirements are met.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for defects and report any discrepancies immediately to the shift supervisor.
- Keep the Workplace Safe: Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all OSHA safety guidelines.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient workflow during high-volume periods.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday).
- Experience: No prior warehouse experience required; training provided on the job.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety standards.
