Responsibilities
- Recruitment Support: Assist in the full-cycle recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Onboarding Excellence: Design and execute engaging onboarding programs for new hires to ensure seamless integration into the company.
- Employee Relations: Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, fostering a positive and supportive workplace culture.
- Compliance Management: Maintain accurate HR records, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Payroll Assistance: Support the payroll process by collecting timesheets and resolving discrepancies.
- HRIS Administration: Manage and update employee data within our HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
- Event Coordination: Plan and organize employee engagement activities and company events.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, HR Coordination, or a related administrative role.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in HRIS software (e.g., BambooHR, Workday, or similar) and MS Office Suite.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, customer-service-oriented demeanor.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge: Solid understanding of California labor laws and employment practices.
