Responsibilities
- Database Architecture: Design, develop, and optimize complex database schemas and structures for high availability and scalability.
- Query Optimization: Write efficient, optimized T-SQL queries and stored procedures to ensure lightning-fast data retrieval and processing.
- Performance Tuning: Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement tuning strategies to improve speed and reliability.
- ETL Processes: Develop and maintain Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) pipelines to integrate data from various sources into our centralized data warehouse.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams of data engineers, analysts, and software developers to define data requirements and implement solutions.
- Security & Maintenance: Implement data security best practices, conduct regular backups, and perform database maintenance tasks.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience as a SQL Developer or Database Administrator.
- T-SQL Expertise: Proficiency in writing complex T-SQL queries, including window functions, CTEs, and dynamic SQL.
- Database Systems: Strong experience with SQL Server (T-SQL), PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
