Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning research to identify and validate emerging technologies with 2026+ market potential
- Develop and publish strategic foresight frameworks guiding multi-year product roadmaps
- Partner with C-suite executives to align innovation initiatives with business objectives
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops synthesizing input from engineering, design, and market research
- Represent the company at global tech forums and publish thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals
- Mentor junior futurists and establish KPIs for measuring strategic innovation impact
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, technology consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record translating complex tech trends (AI, quantum, biotech) into commercial strategies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published research or patents in emerging technology domains
- Executive presence with experience influencing Fortune 500 leadership teams
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning, SWOT 2.0)
