Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies and societal trends to develop 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks
- Design and lead innovation workshops for executive teams on future scenarios and disruption risks
- Produce quarterly trend reports and predictive models for business unit planning
- Partner with R&D to prototype solutions for anticipated market shifts
- Develop patent strategies for emerging IP domains in AI, biotech, and sustainable systems
- Present future scenarios at industry conferences and publish in leading journals
- Mentor junior strategists in futures research methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism roles
- Proven experience with scenario planning, Delphi methods, and horizon scanning
- Deep expertise in AI, quantum computing, or climate tech trends
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Proficiency in futures research tools (e.g., Cassandra, Trendalyzer)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex futures concepts
