Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify breakthrough technologies with 2026 market potential
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps aligning with business objectives and future market demands
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to foster innovation and strategic alignment across departments
- Author thought leadership content and deliver executive briefings on emerging tech implications
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Monitor global regulatory landscapes and advise on compliance for emerging technologies
- Drive pilot programs for prototype technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurism consulting
- Proven track record in developing technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, blockchain, or biotech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills with executive audiences
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight preferred
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary innovation teams and budgets over $1M
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or industry publications
