Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, neurotech) to forecast industry disruptions through 2026
- Develop strategic frameworks for clients navigating exponential technological change
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state visions
- Produce whitepapers and thought leadership on technological singularity implications
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype solutions for 2026-era challenges
- Mentor junior futurists and build a future-focused research methodology
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, tech consulting, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record of forecasting tech adoption cycles (3-5 year horizons)
- Expertise in at least two future-critical domains: AI ethics, quantum algorithms, or synthetic biology
- Strong data visualization skills with ability to communicate complex scenarios to non-technical audiences
- PhD or equivalent experience in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
