Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, economics, and social domains to identify 2026+ opportunities
- Develop and publish strategic foresight reports and innovation frameworks for executive decision-making
- Design and facilitate cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future scenarios
- Build and maintain a dynamic ecosystem of industry disruptors, academics, and thought leaders
- Translate foresight insights into actionable R&D priorities and product roadmaps
- Quantify future market potential through scenario modeling and probabilistic forecasting
- Mentor junior futurists and champion innovation culture across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial success or policy impact
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and trend extrapolation frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurist publications or journals
- Experience leading cross-continental teams in matrix organizations
