Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies with 2026+ market impact
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives and market disruptors
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable initiatives
- Build and maintain partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and research labs
- Present future scenarios to executive leadership and boards for strategic decision support
- Author thought leadership publications and represent FutureForge at global innovation forums
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability framework
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, R&D, or corporate innovation with proven futurist experience
- Advanced degree in technology, economics, futures studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology adoption frameworks
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology, climate tech)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to distill complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Track record of implementing future-oriented initiatives with measurable business impact
- Published author or frequent speaker at innovation conferences
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning, backcasting)
