Responsibilities
- Develop and implement long-term technology forecasting frameworks for 2026-2035 horizons
- Lead cross-functional research projects in quantum computing, biotechnology, and AI ethics
- Produce strategic whitepapers and scenario analyses for C-suite executives and government partners
- Manage a portfolio of experimental prototyping initiatives with $5M+ annual budget
- Represent Innovatech at global forums like Davos and World Economic Future Summits
- Mentor a team of 8 futurist researchers and data scientists
- Secure patents and publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or equivalent with 10+ years experience
- Proven track record of technology commercialization with Fortune 500 partners
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and horizon scanning
- Published author in peer-reviewed futurism or technology journals
- Proficiency in Python, R, and advanced data visualization tools
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF, DOE) totaling >$50M
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal impacts
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
